This is Pomplamoose. They’re from the Bay Area (corte madera, actually). And I am in absolute love with what they are doing. A guy and a girl get together, make fun YouTube videos (covers & originals) in order to promote their own music.
They’ve got free tunes, all of them being covers. But within mere minutes of browsing their youtube channel, I was off to iTunes, buying everything I could get my hands on. You will too, after you download Pomplamooses free covers. It’s 8 songs, what are you still doing here?

You know that band Vampire Weekend that kicked ass? Well, lead singer Ezra Koenig sang on one of these songs put out by Green Owl Records – and the band = Warm Heart of Africa. In a brilliant scheme to get the full $8.99 out of you for their record, they’re giving you 5 songs out of the 14 for nothing in good faith.
