Disclaimer: Greg Laswell is a buddy of mine. We just so happened to go to the same college, start somewhat of a ‘business’ together, and I’ve recorded music with him. One night, we should’ve gone to jail (for reasons I can’t put out in a public forum).

Anyways, he recently put out an extremely ballsy record, the Covers EP. Just trust me on this one, it’s an extremely beautiful record, with 6 beautiful songs. Including the above Kate Bush cover – This Woman’s Work.

    I must confess that I heard Greg Laswell from @indiequck, and that is a painful admission to make. Being a fan of Ryan Adams and Ray L., I think his recent efforts are off the charts. His voice even has a hint of Eddie Vedder on a few tunes, and his music is as good as that produced by Coldplay (and yes I'm a Coldplay fan, even if its not cool to be). I am now a huge Laswell fan, thanks to that hustler/rock star @indiequick.
